There are several types of programming at CMCB’s Community Music School:
- Private Lessons (and 1:1 Music Therapy) – for students ages 5 through adult
- SummerARTS & MUSIC – for students ages 5-16
- Ensembles & Classes – open to all, with groups for both children and adults
- Early Childhood Classes – Small group classes for students ages 4-7
- Elementary Classes – Small group classes for students ages 7-12
- The Record Co. Classes – Private lessons and small group classes for students ages 14+
SummerARTS & MUSIC
Dive into a Summer of Music and Creativity at CMCB! For over 30 years, our beloved Summer Arts and Music Program has been a place where young artists thrive. Designed for students ages 5–12, this enriching program offers a joyful mix of music and arts experiences led by our talented, world-class faculty. Have an older student ready to lead? Ages 12 to 16 are invited to join our Counselor In Training (CIT) program! Learn more and register by visiting the SummerARTS & MUSIC page.
Private Lessons
Enjoy 1:1 weekly instruction with one of our great teachers throughout the 2024-25 school year at our 34 Warren campus or at The Record Co! Learn more by visiting the Private Lessons page. There, you will fill out a Lesson Inquiry Form that helps us deliver a customized experience that’s just right for you, or your child. It will ask for some contact information, your interests and goals, and scheduling availability. Then, one of our friendly registration staff will be in touch to finalize the details.
Early Childhood, Elementary, Ensembles, and Group Classes
Our wonderful group classes and ensembles await – there’s something for everyone! From adult ensembles to early childhood classes, we invite you to explore. This year, we’ve launched a new partnership with The Record Co. to offer courses group courses in music production and songwriting!
