Elementary Piano is our most advanced group class in the Beginning Piano series, designed for students ages 7 to 12 who already have a foundation in piano. In this small group setting—just 5 students per class—kids will build on their technique, learn chords, develop ear training, and explore musical expression. It’s a great next step for students preparing for private lessons or ensemble playing. A keyboard or piano at home is required, and completion of Beginning Piano II is recommended.
What to Expect
Skill Development: Focus on advancing piano technique, chord mastery, and musical expression.
Small Group Learning: Classes are limited to 5 students, ensuring individualized attention while fostering collaboration.
Pathways for Growth: Prepare for private lessons, elementary group classes, or ensemble participation.
Interactive Learning: Train your ear to recognize melodies and rhythms, translating these skills to the piano.
Prerequisite: Completion of Beginning Piano II is recommended.
Materials: Students must have a keyboard or piano at home. Inexpensive electronic toy keyboards are acceptable for beginners.
