Community Conversations is a speaker series seeking to engage others in dialogue about important issues in arts education.

Community Conversation with CMCB Faculty

CMCB is continuing to focus on creating a more learner-centered and culturally inclusive learning experience as part of its new vision for music education, and our CMCB faculty are the centerpieces of this new focus. Listen to Anna Bradford, Macky Caldoza, Hannah Lopez, Karl Orvik, and Katie O’Reilly discuss the ways in which they think about creating a more inclusive and learner-centered environment in their teaching spaces. This conversation is taking place on Thursday, June 2 from 6-7PM and will be moderated by Executive Director Lecolion Washington.

Immediately following this Community Conversation is the next performance in our John Kleshinski Concert Series, featuring Kalliope Reed Quintet. We hope that you will stay for both events!

This Community Conversation will be held in a hybrid setting, in-person at Allen Hall and over a live Zoom video conference. Details will be sent to all Eventbrite RSVPs.

Community Conversations is a series of workshops with CMCB staff that seeks to engage others in dialogue about important issues in arts education. We want the voices of our students, parents and partners to be heard. Join us to learn and share your experiences.

Additional information about registration and other events can be found at www.cmcb.org. This event is free for all to attend; please consider making a donation to CMCB to support this work.
