Brian grew up playing around the jazz scene on Boston’s North Shore, learning from the strong community of musicians in Salem, Beverly, and Gloucester. After studying Jazz Performance at the University of Denver, Brian has spent the last ten years playing and teaching in Massachusetts, Colorado, New York City, and the Dominican Republic. He has also worked on the board of the Salem Jazz and Soul Festival, and Instrumental Impact, two non-profit organizations dedicated to increasing education and performance opportunities for student musicians.
