Adriana Ruiz

Adriana Ruiz embarked on her musical journey at the age of seven with Piano studies and later pursued Voice and Choral Conducting at the Conservatorio Esteban Salas in Santiago de Cuba. Under the mentorship of Cuban composer and educator Electo Silva, Adriana became an important member of the Orfeón Santiago–renowned Cuban choral ensemble–where she contributed as a soloist and participated in recordings and tours across Spain, France, and the Caribbean.

Recognized for her talent, Adriana was named an Emerging Artist by Early Music America (EMA) in May 2018, chosen from a competitive pool of applicants for her dedication to early music performance. She recently delighted audiences at the Boston Early Music Festival, Bloomington Early Music Festival, Valencia and Alicante, Spain. Last year, Adriana completed her Master of Music in Historical Performance at Boston University marking a significant milestone in her musical journey. Adriana Ruiz continues to enchant listeners with her musical artistry, and remains committed to exploring new horizons in the historical performance field.
