Music in your neighborhood!

The Music Center is pleased to partner with various community organizations and schools to extend music throughout the community! Our partnerships stem from a mutual goal to provide increased access and extended learning opportunities to students of all ages, levels and abilities throughout Greater Boston.

MUSIC IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD

Back Bay

(Guitar, Flute, and Keyboard)
Students from the Learning Project Elementary School (LP) in grades K-5 are welcome to participate in various CMCB music classes as part of the school's after-school program.  

Fenway

(Private Instrument Lessons)
Private lessons are offered in a variety of instruments after school at the Boston Latin School (BLS).  As our longest existing satellite, our BLS program welcomes percussion, guitar, electric bass, brass, sting and woodwind players to take lessons at BLS.  Lessons are offered 5 days a week and can be arranged through our Registration office. You do not have to be a student at BLS to take lessons with the Music Center at this satellite location.  

Jamaica Plain

(Private Voice Lessons, Choruses)
Sing It!:   The Music Center's student chorus, Sing It! rehearses once a week at the Mission Hill K-8 Pilot School in Jamaica Plain. This chorus is open to all students in grades 3-6. Vocal Scholarships (by audition):  30 Minute Private Voice Lessons offered after-school for Muñiz students interested in expanding their vocal abilities.    

Roxbury

(Private Instrument Lessons)
Private lessons are offered in a variety of instruments after school at Orchard Gardens K-8 School .  Our Orchard Gardens program offers lessons in violin, viola, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone. Lessons are open to students from other BPS elementary and middle schools including Mason Elementary School, Dearborn Middle School and Dudley Neighborhood Charter School.
