Elementary Piano

Take your piano skills to the next level in ELEM Piano, the most advanced group piano course in our Beginning Piano series. Designed for students ages 7–10 who already know the basics, this class offers a deeper dive into piano technique, chords, and musical exploration.

What to Expect

  • Skill Development: Focus on advancing piano technique, chord mastery, and musical expression.
  • Small Group Learning: Classes are limited to 5 students, ensuring individualized attention while fostering collaboration.
  • Pathways for Growth: Prepare for private lessons, elementary group classes, or ensemble participation.
  • Interactive Learning: Train your ear to recognize melodies and rhythms, translating these skills to the piano.

Materials: Students must have a keyboard or piano at home. Inexpensive electronic toy keyboards are acceptable for beginners.


Requirements: Completion of Beginning Piano 2 is encouraged. For those without the prerequisite, please email Macky Caldoza at caldoza@cmcb.org for approval.
