Santiago Diaz  Thursday, April 14

Hailed by The Boston Globe as a “spectacular player” with “flair, lyricism and technical finesse,” classical guitarist Santiago Diaz is a native of Mexico, where he began playing guitar at age 13 at the National School of Music in Mexico City. Acclaimed for his lyrical and passionate performances, Diaz is one of the leading virtuoso guitarists of his generation.

The evening will include beloved Baroque and Classical/Early Romantic German music through the contrapuntal and lyric qualities of the guitar. A selection of Spanish/Romantic pieces will complement the program as well.

Thursday, April 14, 7:00 PM
