FiddleFest

Join us for FiddleFest, an annual event hosted by the Community Music School String Department! This year, our featured guest artists are the Rasa Quartet who will be leading an interactive presentation for CMCB String students. Inspired by the connection between music and storytelling at the heart of folk traditions, Rasa String Quartet creates engaging and fresh programs that are approachable by a wide range of people, are inspired by a variety of different cultures, and highlight unknown composers. The event will center on the folk music of Taiwan, Japan and Korea, highlighting differences and similarities, and will also include time where the quartet will work with the students on learning some of this music.
