BeatShop Boston WorkShop!

BeatShop is a music workshop that teaches basic composition, music theory and piano via technology. In addition to teaching the technical aspects of music making, Beatshop Boston incorporates traditional music theory concepts, like harmony, melody and rhythm.

This workshop is for students of all backgrounds and ages.
We provide scholarships for students and those in need.
No experience with music required.

In addition to teaching the technical aspects of music making, Beatshop Boston incorporates traditional music theory concepts, like harmony, melody and rhythm.

Topics Covered: sequencing, MIDI, synthesizer programming, drum programming, sampling, equalization, compression, delay, reverb, song structure, mixing, basic signal flow, and recording audio, in particular, vocal production.

      I would contact Catherine directly. We believe this class is still going on for another 4 weeks and yes, we do offer scholarships for it.
