Saturdays, 9:30 – 10:15 AM

Explore many different cultures around the world! Students will learn to sing in many different languages and listen to different cultural backgrounds. No prior experience is required! The class will be fully accessible for all participants.

Activities include a combination of singing regional folk songs and playing tons of fun music games. All music will be ethically sourced and incorporated with training and approval from fellow colleagues and scholars!

Rather than focus on lectures and a strict rubric, students will have plenty of opportunities to ‘play’ as the teacher guides them through developing connections and growing as learners and musicians.

The culminating event will be a showcase of all the cultures we explored through the means of singing, dancing, and instrument playing!
