Young Composers Festival 2017

Community Music Center of Boston and New Gallery Concert Series
are proud to present this annual event, a 2-day long program of workshops, panel discussions and concerts by and for students from elementary school to college.
Students work alongside professional composers and performers to create, perform and enjoy contemporary music. All workshops and events are FREE and open to the public. Students can attend any or all workshops and do not need to study privately at the Music Center to participate. Sign-ups are not required!

Community Music Center of Boston's Artist In Residence, who will read student compositions, moderated by Longy School of Music Composition Professor John Morrison

Presenters are comprised of professional musicians and music instructors from the Greater Boston area.
