Performathon

What is Performathon? Much like a walk-a-thon, Performathon is an annual event hosted by CMCB featuring a marathon of back-to-back musical performances! This event is an annual opportunity to hear students across all ages, instruments, and levels come together and share their music – from their very first scales, to advanced repertoire spanning a variety of styles and genres.
This year’s Performathon will see over 100 performances in the span of 3 days!
- Thursday, January 30: 4-7PM
- Friday, January 31: 4-7PM
- Saturday, February 1: 10AM-3PM

Performathon is a wonderful opportunity to bring the whole CMCB community together, and we encourage you to invite your friends and family as we support one another in a marathon of beautiful music-making. And – just like a walk-a-thon – please consider joining our Performathon fundraising campaign to help give back to CMCB’s wonderful community!
Fundraising for CMCB
To celebrate your performance, consider participating in CMCB’s Performathon fundraiser! It’s a chance to give back to CMCB’s community by raising money for scholarships and instrument funds at CMCB, and to share with friends and family how important music and CMCB are to you.
With your support, we can continue to:
- Award over $300,000 in financial aid and help provide instruments to all students who need them
- Offer board-certified Music Therapy for participants of all ages, which adopts the skillful use of music to achieve non-musical goals in health and well-being
- Provide over $100,000 in youth wages as part of our youth employment program, supporting leadership development and college/career readiness
