First and Last: Beethoven’s String Quartets  Thursday, March 5

The Boston Public Quartet, formed in 2007, is a community-centered string quartet, consisting of violinists Betsy Hinkle and Karl Ørvik, violist Jason Amos, and cellist Cora Swenson Lee. The BPQ will perform the first and last published quartets by Ludwig van Beethoven. The evening will be an exploration of Beethoven’s evolution as a composer through the ultimate medium of personal expression, the string quartet.
