Beethoven  Thursday, October 8

Community Music Center of Boston’s Artists in Residence, the Gramercy Trio, present the first of three concerts this year on Beethoven’s Trios. The Trio, comprised of Sharan Leventhal, violin; Jonathan Miller, cello; Randall Hodgkinson, piano, will be playing Op. 1 No. 1 Piano Trio in E-flat major, Op. 1 No. 2 – Piano Trio in G major and Op. 1 No. 3 – Piano Trio in C minor.

The New York Times has called their performances “distinctive and memorable… beautifully wrought and sensitively balanced” (Allan Kozinn), giving “the refreshing impression that everything they were doing was fun and worth hearing” (Anne Midgette).
