Celebrating Lucy Joan Sollogub

Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate Lucy Joan Sollogub on Friday, November 30. Lucy led our partnership efforts with the Boston Public Schools for the past thirty years, building a strong legacy of our school outreach program.

We celebrated with appetizers, cake and, of course, music! Entertainment was provided by the New England Irish Harp Orchestra and the Carney Band. Lucy is a member of NEIHO, and they surprised her by playing at the event.

Teachers from the School Outreach program, staff and participants from SummerARTS, and colleagues from BPS and fellow cultural organizations from around the city attended the event, along with Lucy’s close family and friends.

The event culminated with a jam session in which guests were invited to join in together to play music near and dear to Lucy’s heart, including some SummerARTS fan favorites!

Here are more photos from the event!
