2009-2010 Registration and Tuition

Registration is always open, and students can start private instruction at any time.

Fall 2009 Pre-Registration Hours

August 3rd through September 10th:

Monday - Friday:

10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Saturdays (Starting Sept 12th):

10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Auditions for String, Wind, and Jazz Ensembles, as well as the Chamber Orchestra:
Saturday, September 12.

Tuition and Fees

Registration Fee:

$40.00 for individuals; $50.00 for families. This fee is non-refundable and payable at the time of registration.

Individual Instruction:

30 minute lesson @ $38.00
45 minute lesson @ $57.00
60 minute lesson @ $76.50
Tuition may be paid in full, in halves, in four or in nine monthly installments.

Discounts (applicable to individual instruction only):

Payment in full at time of registration (full year) 4%
Payment in halves 3%
Payment in quarters No discounts
Families registering two or more persons: 10%
Senior citizens (Age 65 and older): 20%

Financial Assistance in the form of reduced tuition is available in some circumstances. Requests should be directed in person to the Registrar. Funds are limited. Families receiving reduced tuition are not eligible for other discounts.

Digital Piano Instruction:

$19.00 per one hour class (maximum of five students)

Class Instruction (Tuition is payable in full at time of registration):

Music Theory: $525.00/year

Ensembles:

Group Lesson or Small Ensemble (2 people) $750.00 (30 minutes) per 32 weeks
CMCB Youth Chorus, Wind Ensembles, Chamber Orchestra, String Ensembles, Performance Class, Jam Band, Jazz Ensembles $400/per 32 weeks
*If also registered for private instruction, deduct 20% of ensemble fee.
*If also registered for private instruction, deduct 100% of Youth Singer fee.
