9th Annual Young Composers Festival

January 26-28, 2012

Welcome to the Ninth Annual Young Composers Festival, a week-long festival of new music by young composers and fun, challenging workshops for the whole family. Community Music Center of Boston and New Gallery Concert Series are proud to present the annual Young Composers Festival, a week-long program of workshops, panel discussions and concerts by and for students from elementary school to college. Young musicians work alongside professional composers and performers to create, perform and enjoy contemporary music. Opportunities include collaborative workshops, a reading session, visual arts, and improvisation. This year’s Young Composers Festival (YCF) takes place from January 26-28, 2012 at Community Music Center of Boston.
